Following the Supreme Court judgment on termination of employment by way of giving three months notice, a company in the Construction Sector, Fredrick Sage also known as Lesway Joinery has terminated contracts of eight of its employees without any terminal benefits. The reason for the termination is not yet known. Amongst the eight is one of ZCATWU's National Executive Member. It now seems as if employers are now using the recent Supreme Court ruling to get rid of trade union members.
